What Can I Earn?
This guide is based on a 2.4kWp system in 3 example cities. The figures (except for the Net Annual Return) can be adjusted in line with size of the system you choose, so a 1.2kWp system would generate half of the values below.

Return on Investment calculated against an estimated fully installed price of £12,897 inc VAT, warranties and remote monitoring system (where practicable).
* Forecast of performance using PV*SOL 2010 Simulation software. Based upon installing our currently specified panels on a south facing roof at 30 degrees with no shade. Total income and returns based over the 25 year term of the FIT incentive scheme.
FIT earnings, from 12/12/11, calculated at 21p for every kWh generated plus 3.1p for 50% of total (which we estimate the average home will export), increasing each year by 3.5% as an assumption of long term inflation.
Savings assumed at 13p for every kWh used (50% of total), increasing by 8.2% a year (in line with a BBC News forecast October 2009).
** Equivalent to the net rate of return needed from a deposit account, withdrawing income, to match the illustrated PV benefits
